Challenge
The purchase and exploitation of movie rights comes with a complex administration. Moreover, these film rights are an important financial investment time after time. Hence it is key to the company to keep a good overview. And it was exactly this overview which was lacking in their day-to-day operations.
Solution
In close collaboration with them, we developed an application to manage cash-flow projections. In order to do so, the accounting data are integrated with their own estimates of individual sales data per movie. These sales data can be refined according to the real revenue. This way, The Searchers have a perfect overview of their future liquidity and they are able to make the right investment decisions for the future.
